Which slot suits you depends on where the address sits, because this coverage is two municipalities joined by mountain roads rather than one grid. Bookings on the Lonsdale corridor place most easily outside the mid-day and evening build-up toward the Ironworkers Memorial and the Lions Gate approaches. West Vancouver addresses, and Horseshoe Bay above all, run best late evening, early morning or weekday off-peak. Up on the Edgemont plateau there is one predictable hour to avoid, and it is mid-afternoon, when Capilano Road and Ridgewood Drive fill with school pickup.
The area dropdown is not a formality on this coverage. Two municipalities sit inside it and they share street names. Keith Road on its own settles nothing: it runs under the Upper Lonsdale strata townhomes, borders the southern edge of Pemberton Heights, and turns up again on the older streets above the cove at Horseshoe Bay, near Copper Drive. Marine Drive runs through both cities. Picking the area is what tells dispatch which Keith Road you mean, and it is also what sets the window you are quoted, since that number comes from the area rather than from the city.

The start time on a slot is when the van pulls up, and that figure is drawn from the area rather than stretched across the whole coverage. The spread is wide enough to change how a day is built. If the same buzzer is what prints a visitor parking tag, write that down too, since the Quay on a Saturday is not the place to improvise a parking plan. Several of the Lynnmour townhome complexes sit behind a coded gate with very few stalls behind it: the code typed in at booking is worth ten minutes on the day. None of this is a test. Anything you leave out gets sorted on site, it just gets sorted on your hour.
Most bookings need nothing ordered ahead, because the van already carries the common keyways and the replacement cylinders that match them. Two things want a few days. Naming the brand at booking is what puts the right one on board. A third thing is not hardware at all. If a keypad deadbolt needs a council to say yes first, get that answer before you pick a date, and ask us for the dimensions, the product sheet and an installation photo to put in front of them. We will supply all three. We will not read your bylaws for you, and a slot booked on the assumption of an approval that never came is a wasted afternoon for both of us.
A vehicle booking wants the year, make and model in the notes, and registration or insurance matching your ID at the door. Most makes sold in Canada are cut and programmed at the vehicle. Some older or specialised European cars need dealer-level tooling, which we would far rather flag on the confirmation call than discover in your driveway. Cutting a spare while the equipment is already parked outside costs a fraction of a separate call-out, which is the whole argument for booking one now instead of after the only key you own disappears at a trailhead.
The upper half of this map keeps its own weather.
